This month on The Cassette, we open side A with a tasty sample of AOR production from this month's interviewee, Rich Van Slyke of WKLS in Atlanta. You'll notice a lot of "singing" on this month's tape beginning with cut 3 on side A from SAFM. This parody is written as an ID for the morning show. It's produced "basically" from scratch and then mixed with the original song to become part of the song. Cut 6 is another morning show parody/promo; and cut 7 is the instrumental version of cut 6 which Rick Robinson/WEGR has supplied for your own Halloween madness this month. Side A wraps up with a promo voiced by the clients.
Side B is filled with some excellent commercial writing and production from Alaska to Australia and California to Massachusetts. And there are a couple of spoofs thrown in for your enjoyment.
