We begin Side A with a collection of work from Thom Streich of WBEN/WMJQ and subject of this month's interview. Listen carefully and you'll notice the lack of EQ and compression (as discussed in the interview). Thom maintains good level control and clean, crisp voice work without the assistance of dynamics processing and EQ. Anyone who saw "Silence of the Lambs" will get a kick out of cut 2. And the rest of Side A is filled with a wide variety of creative approaches to advertising.
Side B opens with a couple of well-done promos for WLWI's ten to midnight show, "Cryin', Lovin', & Leavin'." Cut 7 features several promos in the T-Shirt campaign for 2XS-FM in New Zealand. Cut 11 presents a great idea -- a promo for your air personalities! There's a lot more creative work on the rest of Side B, and we wind it up with a couple of parodies.
