This month's Cassette features the winners and runners-up in the 3rd Annual Firsty Awards. The winning spots and promos fill up side A and continue for a portion of side B. (Though several people may have been involved in creating some of these promos and spots, we've only listed the producers next to each cut.)
Following the Firsty cuts is Bob Magruder's commercial voice demo (Side B, cut 5). We then get a montage of Mojo production from M.J. Kelli in New York. Cut 7, from Mick McCabe, is a promo we promised to have on last month's Cassette, but it didn't make it due to technical problems with the tape. Finally, we wrap up side B with a timely Father's Day promo from the "outrageous" ones, Bumper Morgan and Y107 in Nashville.
