Welcome to the June 2000 RAP Cassette! We begin with an awesome demo from Mike Daly, this month's interview subject, who opens the demo with his two RAP Award winning promos for KOGO. Joel Moss/WEBN was kind enough to send a couple of promos he talked about in his reply to this month's Q It Up question about voice talent. Read his reply on page 16 then give the promos a listen! The rest of side A offers an excellent selection of commercials, and we wrap up the side with a well-done "non-violence" promo from Parks Stamper at WVFI in Atlanta.

Side B is loaded with promos from around the globe. On cut 9, Richard Stroobant makes good creative use of the tape they got from their voice guy in which he mispronounces the winner's name ten times. "Didn't get it right once," Richard notes. "So we called our winner, and did this promo." Cut 14 is another amazing piece from Don Elliot/KFI, who MUST have too much time on his hands! And a word a caution to those easily offended; cuts 15 and 16 are spoof spots whose titles, "Rectal Mints" and "Ass Away," pretty much clue you to what you're in for. You've been warned!
