• Our good friend at Radio Sales Café, Rod Schwartz, reached out for some help with an old jingle he’s trying to recall. Rod is doing research on cigarette advertising of the 1950's-60's, but is having difficulty identifying and locating one jingle in particular. Rod writes:

<<< I've had this earworm for months, and am trying to find this jingle, or at least figure out what brand used it in its advertising. (My best guess is that it was Kent, touting its "Micronite filter.") The two bars that I can recall (and sing even) are: "The filter fiber spins the smoke with every little twist. So now you get the flavor that you shouldn't hadda oughta missed." >>>

Rod and I have both done our best with the search engines with no luck; maybe one of you can do better!
